In a decisive ruling, the High Court’s Economic and Financial Crimes Division upheld the three‑year sentence handed to Wanziya Chirwa, wife of former Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo, for possession of proceeds of crime. The court dismissed her appeal and reaffirmed the original judgment issued by the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court.
